Getting over someone is a hard, long and time-taking process especially if you are trying to forget someone you have been in a relationship with. While it’s completely understandable to feel that it might never happen, understand that there’s light at the end of the tunnel and you WILL get over that bad breakup that screwed you over.

There are no hard and fast rules as to what might help let go but with certain strategies and time, your pain will fade. Just believe in yourself and keep trying.

Remove them from your social media:

It’s important to delete/unfollow them so you don’t see their posts on your timeline randomly and are reminded of them. You don’t need to be know what’s going on in their lives because it’s only gonna remind you of all the good times you shared with them making the whole process very difficult.

Don’t stay in touch:

Some people decide to stay friends after a breakup, but trust me on this: IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA. You will never get your closure if you stay in touch. Get some space and break away completely right after the breakup.

Don’t rebound:

DO NOT, in any circumstances, get in a relationship with someone just because you miss your ex. It will only make the whole process of letting go and move on complicated. Give yourself some time to heal, you will feel like yourself in no time.

Delete all texts/pictures that remind you of them:

Even if you cut off all ties, it will still be hard to get over them if your life is filled with reminders of that person. The best practice is to get rid of all photos and texts you still have of them. The less you see of them everyday, the better it is for your healing process. Oh and yes, get rid of those love songs you are listening on repeat.

Live life and move on:

It will seem hard at first but if you push yourself hard enough, you can do this. Understand that a breakup doesn’t mean the end of the world. Go out with friends, meet new people and enjoy your life while you can.

There is no set time limit for healing because love is a messy emotion and each relationship has its own memories and feelings. Give yourself time and everything will be all right.

Having turned down advances from Shah Hussain, a classmate of hers at her college, she thought that would be the end of it but she didn’t know that it would change her life forever. Despite that, a long two year legal battle, and an even more painful recovery process for khadija, Shah Hussain’s sentence was reduced from seven years to five years, and now he is fully acquitted from serving any jail time as his father has most definitely paid off the judge to let him off the hook. Where is the justice in this? Where is the justice in the judge telling Khadija to shake hands with her almost murderer and telling her to forgive him and try to be friends with him.

If it was the other way around and Khadija had the money and the boy was from a poor family, would he have been sentenced to the full ten year sentence? The Pakistani justice system is so flawed. It’s not run by people who are interested in right or wrong, and enforcing the law. It is run by money.

I stand for justice for Khadija. Shah Hussain should be put behind bars. There is a difference between someone harming another for the sake of harming them, and between someone harming another to kill. He is a murderer and should not be allowed to walk the streets free from consequences.

Now that we are almost into the last ashra of the holy month of Ramadan, celebrations and preparations of Eid Ul Fitr have already begun. Muslims from around the world are prepping up to celebrate this festival after a month-long period of fasting.

This year, Ramadan in Pakistan started on the same day as the rest of the world so naturally one would think that the upcoming Eid ul Fitr would also fall on the same day but that, however, is not the case.

As per the predictions by a local astronomer in UAE, it is highly likely that the Shawwaal moon is sighted in that part of the world on the evening of June 14 and the first day of Eid is on Friday, 15th June. Thus, Ramadan is expected to comprise of 29 days this time around in UAE.

However, according to an official from Pakistan Meteorological Department, as per scientific calculations, there are very slim chances of Eid to fall on Friday, June 14 in Pakistan. 

This means that Pakistanis will observe fast for 30 days this year and celebrate Choti Eid on Saturday, 16 June. 

However, this is only a prediction and nothing has been confirmed so far. In case the estimation proves to be incorrect, Pakistanis will be celebrating Eid Ul Fitr on June 15 with the rest of the world.

A meeting of the central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 14, which will confirm the Shawwaal moon sighting. Till then, nothing can be known for sure.

However, scientific study of the chemicals in marijuana, called cannabinoids, has led to two FDA-approved medications that contain cannabinoid chemicals in pill form. Continued research may lead to more medications.

This recent shoot for Brides 2018 collection was done by Sadaf Fawad( Fawad Khan’s wife) who’s the owner of Silk by Sadaf Fawad Khan.

As Fawad Khan happens to be the Brand Ambassador of SFK, Sadaf Fawad believes that Mahira was a great choice for this photoshoot.

In a very brief conversation about the collection, I asked Sadaf what inspired her to bring Mahira onboard for the shoot. Fawad is, of course, already the brand ambassador for Sadaf Fawad Khan Bridals and roping Mahira in was quite the coup.

“Fawad and Mahira both are successful and strong individuals who represent the brand’s values perfectly,” Sadaf spoke exclusively to Something Haute.
