UAE to offer Residency Visa https://pakiholic.com/uae-to-offer-residency-visa/ Mon, 21 May 2018 06:29:34 +0000 http://pakiholic.com/?p=7126 The UAE visa conditions for Pakistan have always been shapeshifting with time, however, UAE is also one of the few developed states in the world which offers Pakistani people Visa with great ease.

The United Arab Emirates announced decisions that included the provision of Residency visas of up to 10 years for investors and professionals and their families. In addition, this visa is also available to deserving students with a bright future ahead of them.

The cabinet announced the launch of an integrated visa system to attract talent in all sectors of the economy of UAE. The new visa system will grant investors and talents up to 10-year residency visas for specialists in medical, scientific, research and technical fields, as well as for all scientists and innovators as well as five-year residency visas for students studying in the UAE, and 10-year visas for exceptional students. The UAE official News agency has released this news and is a great opportunity for people looking for exposure.

The meeting also announced changes in the system of foreign ownership of companies in the country, which allows the acquisition of 100 percent by global investors by the end of the year, which would prove to be a great shift in the policy of UAE officials. According to the existing laws, foreigners generally cannot own more than 49 percent of any UAE firm unless it is incorporated in a special “free zone”. This policy deterred many investors from all over the world which did not show any interest in profit sharing with another person simply because of the reason that he or she was born in UAE. Would you consider this policy racist? Narcissistic? Arrogant? Whatever we may consider it to be, it has benefited their local people to a great extent over the past year. But with the decision to change this, it may have dire consequences for the local people of UAE.

The UAE cabinet which is chaired by Vice President of UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, have approved the decision held at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi. The official meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan along with other state ministers.

Lahore is the capital city of the Pakistani province of Punjab, and is the country’s second-most populous city after Karachi. The city is located in the north-eastern end of Pakistan’s Punjab province, near the border with the Indian state of Punjab.

Lahore is the historic cultural center of the Punjab region, and is one of Pakistan’s most socially liberal, progressive, and cosmopolitan cities in Asia.

Mian Jee Ki Daal and Other Yummy Delicacies While Travelling Across Pakistan https://pakiholic.com/mian-jee-ki-daal-and-other-yummy-delicacies-while-travelling-across-pakistan/ Wed, 16 May 2018 12:22:22 +0000 http://pakiholic.com/?p=6876 By Maha Usman

As Pakistanis, food is always our first priority no matter what. Be it an official meeting, a wedding, a college break, or even a funeral, food is something that brings us all together.

A while ago I was discussing delicacies of Pakistan with my friends which brings me to write this blog.

There are a number of foods that have always won our heart.  If you’re traveling across Pakistan, there are plenty of places where you can go…balkay you MUST go, for ‘UFF BUHAT MAZAY KA KHANA”

Mian Jee Ki Daal:

Way before Islamabad-Lahore motorway was constructed, GT road was the only way to go Lahore. While traveling from Rawalpindi to Lahore or other cities of a Punjab, it was a must to have Ievery time we crossed Lala Musa. Between Lahore and Pindi, there’s a restaurant for the masses called Mianjee

Known for its special daal channa and paratha, the place has always served the taste for years. People from all parts of Pakistan visit the restaurant just for its unique flavour. Desi ghee is a magical ingredient for sure but we still haven’t figured out how they make it so yummy!

Hassan Abdal Ki Machli:

Located in the north of Punjab, 40km northwest of Islamabad, Hassan Abdal is a home of the Gurudwara Panja Sahib- one of the most sacred sites of Sikhism.

The town is famous for its historical association with the Mughal Era; Wah Gardens, Tomb of Lalarukh, and Hakimon ka Maqbara.

What still remains is the fresh river fish which has driven us crazy for so long! There’s not a specific eaterie as per say but the several roadside fish vendors cook it with spicy and yummilicious masala. It’s a must try if you’re planning to go there!

Soure: Steemit

Charsi Tikka, Peshawar:

Known for its lamb chops and karai, Charsi tikka is something you would definitely want to have over and over again. Located in Namak Mandi, the restaurant offers a wide range of meat; barbeque, karahi, and kabab. They’re made in a special ghee and tossed with salt in an unconventional way which makes it a delicacy.

Patakha Chicken, Nathiagali:

Patakha Chicken is a fried roast marinated in salt, garlic juice and lots of crushed red chili flake. If you’re a spice lover, you would definitely love this chicken! Wo bhi Nathiagali mein <3

15 Amazing Pictures Of Wild Life & Photographers That Will Make You Go Aww https://pakiholic.com/15-amazing-pictures-of-wild-life-photographers-that-will-make-you-go-aww/ Wed, 25 Apr 2018 12:54:19 +0000 http://pakiholic.com/?p=6220 Wild-life photography is an amusing and cheerful job but it can also be daunting and make you push your own limits. You need to be determined, patient, strong and experienced. It’s definitely not the same as taking photos of your cute little bush in the garden while these guys embrace the wilderness of the Amazon or even the Arctics!

You discover how much adrenaline your body can produce.

It offers you intimacies you could never ever think of or expect.

And you discover how great it is feels to be trusted.

You experience the excitement of being the first person discover new places, new things.

It tells you the necessity of adaptation.

You see that humans are a part of the nature.

And when you are approached with love, how easily you can blend in.

Very close, and actually active friends!

You realize you should always watch your back.

It gives you valuable friends with whom you’ll communicate without using words!

You comprehend the true meaning of “approaching with love”.

You witness the balance of life from the front rows.

You sadly notice that humans are indeed the wildest creatures in nature.

You sadly and dreadfully become aware of how you come apart from the nature , and actually how you’ve cast yourself away from nature.

You see true love.

It gives you the opportunity of seeing every color of the world as you get among them.

Best Captures of Nanga Parbat That You Must Not Miss https://pakiholic.com/best-captures-of-nanga-parbat-that-you-must-not-miss/ Fri, 13 Apr 2018 12:18:19 +0000 http://pakiholic.com/?p=6005 By Yasin Nadir

Also called the killer mountain, Nanga Parbat is located in Diamer district of Gilgit Baltistan. It falls in the western range of the Himalayas region. 11th highest peak in the world, located at 26,660 ft above the sea level, Nanga Parbat is the 2nd highest peak in Pakistan after K2.

The name Nanga Parbat is derived from the Sanskrit words nagna and parvata which together mean “Naked Mountain”. The mountain is locally known by its Tibetan name Diamer or Deo Mir, meaning “huge mountain”.

Nanga Parbat is one of the eight-thousanders. An immense, dramatic peak rising far above its surrounding terrain, Nanga Parbat is also a notoriously difficult climb. Numerous mountaineering deaths in the mid and early-20th century lent it the nickname “Killer Mountain.”

Because of its accessibility, attempts to summit Nanga Parbat began very soon after it was discovered by Europeans. In 1895 Albert F. Mummery led an expedition to the peak, and reached almost 6,100 m (20,000 ft) on the Diamir (West) Face,] but Mummery and two Gurkha companions later died reconnoitering the Rakhiot Face.

In the 1930s, Nanga Parbat became the focus of German interest in the Himalayas. The German mountaineers were unable to attempt Mount Everest, as only the British had access to Tibet. Initially, German efforts focused on Kanchenjunga, to which Paul Bauer led two expeditions in 1930 and 1931, but with its long ridges and steep faces Kanchenjunga was more difficult than Everest and neither expedition made much progress. K2 was known to be harder still, and its remoteness meant that even reaching its base would be a major undertaking. Nanga Parbat was, therefore, the highest mountain accessible to Germans and also deemed possibly reasonable by climbers at the time.

Pakiholic has brought you some of the most captivating clicks of the killer mountain by the young travel photographers of Pakistan, It’s an effort not only to promote the beauty of Pakistan but also the talented photographers, who are always in hunt of clicking the unique shots.

Shimshal Pass Lake 15,560 ft ASL – Shimshal Valley, Pakistan

Shimshal Pass and two lakes are situated deep in Shimshal Pamir region near border of China. One can reach Shimshal Village through a tough and adventurous jeep ride. It takes 4-5 hours from KarimabadHunza to reach Shimshal while 7-8 hours from Gilgit for the same journey. Then a 3 days trek leads one from Shimshal Village to Shimshal Lakes and Pass.

The trek passes through campsites named: Past Farzeen, UchFarzeen, Parian Sar, Arbab Parian, Shujareb and finally Shimshal Pass. Now this trek is one of the toughest ones with extremely narrow sections most of the times requiring precision, focus and proper physical fitness. There are many loose sections of rocks and gravel which need prayers and luck as well 🙂 No, i am not scaring you guys but just trying to document the real situation of this trek. The first day itself is the toughest start to any trek that i have done so far.

This route is part of a well-established centuries old ecosystem and living culture of Shimshal. Locals keep their herds of sheep and yaks in high pastures of Shimshal Pamir and take care of the livestock throughout the year. Even in winters when this area is full of layers of snow, people live in different huts made for such purpose to cater for the livestock. Turns are decided in main village who will spend winters every year.
